George County, MS – Sheriff Dean Howell says three suspects wanted in the connection with the murder of 23 year old Joshua Gautier have been taken into custody.  A joint effort by the George County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI Safe Streets task Force, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, and the Jackson County K9 Unit resulted in the arrest of the suspects  just minutes ago. Two were arrested in George County and one in Greene county.  The 3 suspects were arrested without incident.

No names are being released at the time of this release but more information will be made available soon. Sheriff Dean Howell says he is very pleased with the multi-agency operation and wanted to thank those involved in the arrest of these three suspects. They are being held at George County Regional Jail pending initial court appearance.

No motive has been released for the murder at this time.
