September 27, 2010

 

On Saturday September 25, 2010, the George County Sheriff’s Department was conducting a safety checkpoint on Beasley Road in the Barton Community.  Deputies discovered several precursor chemicals used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine in a 1999 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.  Both the driver Jennifer Marie Catlett (39) and the passenger Ronald Jeremy Howell (27) of George County were arrested and charged with possession of precursor chemicals with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
