Narcotics Arrest

On Monday, August 08, 2011 George County Sheriff’s Department deputies were patrolling the Rocky Creek Community and observed suspicious activity near the 100 block of Brushy Creek Rd. As deputies approached the residence they noticed approximately five marijuana plants growing in a flower bed near the front door, which ranged from approximately three to six feet in height. Further Investigation led to the arrest of Annie Gay Harrison (69), of George County. Harrison was transported to George County Regional Jail and charged with manufacturing marijuana.
