On the morning of Friday September 16, 2011, nineteen (19) year old Brandon Charles Cochran, of Lucedale, entered the home of his father and stepmother in the Basin Community and attacked a family member.  Cochran fled the scene and was sought by law enforcement for three (3) days. His vehicle was recovered in Jackson County, MS, on the evening of Sunday September 18, 2011.

On Monday September 19, 2011 Cochran was apprehended by Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies, near the Jackson/George County Line.  Cochran was turned over to the George County Sheriff’s Department and taken to the George County Regional Correctional Facility, where he was booked on the charge of aggravated domestic violence. 

This case is remains under investigation.
