Narcotic Arrests

On Monday, July 25, 2011, agents with the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Toyota Tacoma on Hwy 57 South near the Broome Community. A search of the vehicle revealed pseudoephedrine tablets, which are considered to be a Scheduled III narcotic in the state of Mississippi. Jimmy Black (44), and Ruben Hudson (59), both of George County, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Black and Hudson were both transported to George County Regional Jail.
