On Friday July 15, 2011, agents with the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division responded to a residence located at the 100 block of Gerald Berry Road in the Agricola Community with patrol deputies to investigate a domestic violence complaint where agents had also received several tips for the manufacturing of methamphetamine. A search of the property revealed two or more precursor chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine.  Agents arrested Brian Scott Berry (41), of George County for possession of precursor chemicals with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and transported him to the George County Regional Jail.  Berry appeared before Justice Court Judge Norman C. Howell where he received a $35,000.00 commercial bond.

 

 

On Friday July 15, 2011, agents with the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division and the Lucedale Police Department Narcotics Division responded to the 200 block of Park Dr, in the Basin Community. A search of the residence revealed an active meth lab. Agents arrested Christine Ann Manuel (29) of George County for manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and child endangerment. Agents also removed a small child from the residence with the assistance of the Department of Human Services. Manuel appeared before Justice Court Judge Norman C. Howell where she received a $50,000.00 commercial bond.

 

 

On Friday July 15, 2011, agents with the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division and the Lucedale Police Department Narcotics Division responded to the Dorset Motel,  room 209, located in the Lucedale City Limits, where they had received an anonymous tip that methamphetamine was being manufactured. A search of the room revealed an active meth lab, multiple precursor chemicals, and drug paraphernalia (syringes) etc. Agents arrested Amy Daniele Martin (31), Matthew Lane Robinson (26), and Shawna McClelland (29), all of George County. Agents charged Martin and Robinson with manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and McClelland with conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance (methamphetamine). All three were transported to the George County Regional Jail. Martin received a $35,000.00 commercial bond, Robinson received a $35,000.00 commercial bond, and McClelland received a $100,000.00 Commercial Bond from Justice Court Judge Norman C. Howell.

 

These arrests were investigated by the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division, Lucedale Police Department Narcotics Division.
