Narcotics Arrest

 

June 23 , 2011

 

 

 

On Thursday , June 23 , 2011 agents with the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division and Lucedale Police Department Narcotics Division went to a residence located at the 8100 block of Hwy 57 South in the Benndale Community after receiving a tip concerning the manufacture of methamphetamine. A search of a Gold Ford Thunderbird revealed several precursor chemicals, methamphetamine, and an active meth lab in the trunk. Byron Glen Beeker Jr. (52), of George County was arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance. Beeker was transported to George County Regional Correctional Facility.
