JUVENILES ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH BURGLARY

The George County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a burglary on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, on Karen Lane in the Barton Community.  As a result of an investigation, seventeen (17) year old William Corey Rogers, of the Basin Community, was arrested and charged with burglary of a dwelling.  His accomplice, a fourteen (14) year old, whose name cannot be released, was charged with accessory to burglary.  All property stolen from the residence was located and recovered.

 

Rogers was transported to the George County Regional Correctional Facility.  He was later released on a $3,000.00 commercial bond.
