BURGLAR CAUGHT EXITING RESIDENCE

Burglar Caught Exiting Residence

April 14, 2011

On Thursday, April 14, 2011, the George County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a concerned citizen in the Central Community, who said he had seen a suspicious white male walking in his neighbor’s yard while the neighbor was not at home.  George County Deputies responded to the call and arrested forty-five (45) year old Steven Ray Watson of Lucedale, as he was exiting the residence carrying jewelry and other valuable items belonging to the home owner. Watson was transported to the George County Regional Correctional Facility where he was booked on the charge of burglary and grand larceny.  The case remains under investigation by the George County Sheriff’s Office.
