Narcotics Arrest’s
February 18-23
On Friday February 18, 2011, deputies with the George County Sheriff’s Department arrested Rosa Mcdonald (36) of George County at the 100 block of Wesley Howard Road for possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies transported Mcdonald to the George County Regional Jail where she was also charged with possession of cocaine after cocaine was found on her person.
On Tuesday February 22, 2011, deputies with the George County Sheriff’s Department responded to an anonymous tip of a suspicious vehicle under the bridge at Pee Wee Miller Road and River Road in the Davis Community that led to the arrest of Scott Fairley (28) and Bobby Sheree Rouse (30) of George County for possession of precursor chemicals and possession of methamphetamine. Deputies transported both Fairley and Rouse to the George County Regional Jail.
On Wednesday February 23, 2011, agents with the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division, Lucedale Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics received an anonymous tip of drug activity on McInnis Street. When agents responded to the location they found Kellen Hopkins (23) and Clarissy Ethel Homan (25) in a GMC Yukon. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 1 ounce of marijuana and approximately 10 grams of synthetic marijuana known as spice. Hopkins and Homan were charged with possession of marijuana with intent, Homan was also charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoids (spice). Deputies transported both Hopkins and Homan to the George County Regional Jail.
On Wednesday February 23, 2011, agents with the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division, Lucedale Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics received an anonymous tip of drug activity near the 2000 block Hwy 612 in the Agricola Community. Agents arrested Leland Eugene Edmond (51) of Mobile County, Alabama for possession of methamphetamine. A search of the residence revealed precursor chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine. Deputies transported Edmond to the George County Regional Jail.
These arrests were investigated by the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division, Lucedale Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
