Drug Arrest

January 14, 2011

On Friday, January 14, 2011, George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics conducted a traffic stop in the Lucedale city limits on a 1996 Chevy that led to arrest of the driver Kenny R. Dennis (25) and the passenger Monica Nicole Nix (30) of George County for possession of a controlled substance marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance crack cocaine with intent to distribute. Deputies transported both Dennis and Nix to the George County Regional Jail.

On Friday, January 14, 2011, George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics conducted a traffic stop in the Lucedale city limits on a 1993 oldsmobile that led to arrest of the driver Mwaka Mikena Jack (34) and the passenger Nicole A. Hayes (39) of George County for possession of a controlled substance crack cocaine. Deputies transported both Jack and Hayes to the George County Regional Jail.

On Friday, January 14, 2011, George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics conducted a traffic stop in the Merrill Community on a 1986 Buick that led to arrest of the driver Eugene Steven Loper (50) of George County for possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine. Deputies transported Loper to the George County Regional Jail.

These arrests were investigated by the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
