ARREST MADE IN BURGLARIES
JANUARY 15, 2019
The George County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division (CID) has been investigating several commercial burglaries that occurred during the month of December at the AAA Storage Units located on Highway 63 in the Evanston Community. Tenants reported thefts of personal property including sentimental and collectable property.
During the course of the investigation, a suspect was identified as Jennifer Marie Howell (47). Howell has been arrested and charged with one count of Commercial Burglary. Further investigation also led to an additional suspect, Jessica Yvonne Mcleod (33), who was also arrested. Mcleod has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property. Both suspects received a $10,000 Commercial Bond and remain incarcerated in the George County Regional Correctional Facility.
A large amount of property was found and has been returned to the owners.
