Narcotics Arrest

January 7-8, 2011

 

On Friday, January 07, 2011, George County Sheriff’s Deputies

responded to a traffic accident on Hwy 26 near Holland Road in the Central Community that was investigated by the Mississippi Highway Patrol. The driver of a Harley Davison Motorcycle involved in the accident George L. Johnson (48) of George County was charged with possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine.

 

On Friday, January 07, 2011, George County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Merrill Community on a silver Ford Explorer that led to arrest of the driver Amberly Lashae Miller (30) and the passenger Kellian Ann Stewart (22)  of George County for possession of a controlled substance cocaine with intent to distribute. Both Miller and Stewart were transported to the George County Regional Jail.

 

On Saturday January 08, 2011, George County Sheriff’s Department was conducting a safety checkpoint on Singing River Drive in the Benndale Community. A search of a white Chevy Tahoe led to the arrest of the driver David T. Havard (42) of George County for possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine. Deputies transported Havard to the George County Regional Jail.

 

These arrests were investigated by the George County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
