SMNTF CHARGES THREE WITH POSSESSION
APRIL 15, 2018
On Friday, April 13, 2018, Deputies with the George County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) responded to the 2200 block of Highway 63, Lucedale, George County, MS, for a report of a suspicious white male. Upon arrival Deputies arrested Joseph Deward Fairley (52), a convicted felon, of Lucedale, for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) while in possession of a firearm. Fairley is a repeat offender who is currently on bond for a 2017 drug charge and currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) for a prior drug conviction. Fairley was transported to the George County Regional Correctional Facility (GCRCF) and held in lieu of a $25,000.00 commercial bond set by George County Justice Court Judge Jesse Underwood. Fairley also has a hold placed by MDOC for a probation violation.
On Sunday, April 15, 2018, Officers with the Lucedale Police Department conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of Joshua Dewayne Bradley (31) and Justin Rome Bradley (24), both of Moss Point, MS, for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) as well as misdemeanor warrants with the George County Justice Court and Lucedale Municipal Court. Both Joshua and Justin Bradley are currently being held at the George County Regional Correctional Facility awaiting an initial appearance in Lucedale Municipal Court.
These cases are being investigated by the Southeast Mississippi Narcotics Task Force (SMNTF) and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN).
