RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
TWO ARRESTED- ONE CHARGED WITH RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY

The George County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Residential Burglary that occurred on September 25th, 2017, in the Agricola Community. A vacant home, belonging to a deceased World War II Veteran, was reported to have been broken into, and items were taken including World War II memorabilia. During the course of the investigation, Deputies executed a search warrant at the home of Michael Hayden in the Agricola Community, where they made contact with Julie Terry (41) of Lucedale, MS. Much of the property stolen from the Veteran’s residence was found and returned to the remaining family members. Julie Terry was arrested on outstanding warrants and booked into the George County Regional Correctional Facility. Also charged in connection with this crime was Michael Hayden (46), the homeowner, who was charged with Receiving Stolen Property and was also booked into the George County Regional Correctional Facility. After an initial appearance with a George County Justice Court Judge, Hayden was given a $10,000 Commercial Bond and remains incarcerated in the George County Regional Correctional Facility.
