RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY AND MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT SUSPECT IN CUSTODY
LOOKING FOR SECOND SUSPECT
TWO ARRESTED FOR RECEVING STOLEN PROPERTY

The George County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Burglary of a home located in the Barton Community on October 7th. One suspect, Benton Alan Cooley (41), has been arrested in connection with this crime, and the Sheriff’s Department is searching for Kassie Michelle Baxter (34); Baxter is wanted for Burglary and Motor Vehicle Theft. Also arrested in connection to the Burglary is Stephanie Lynn Valentine (28) and Phillip Wayne Holland (31). Investigators served a search warrant Wednesday, October 11th, off of Salem Campground Road, where Valentine and Holland are residing. During the course of the search, Investigators located some of the stolen property from the October 7th Burglary. Cooley, Valentine, and Holland are currently in the custody of the George County Regional Corrections Facility awaiting their initial appearance. The George County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in the apprehension of Baxter.
