Missing Child Found Deceased

PRESS RELEASE 

MISSING CHILD FOUND DECEASED

SEPTEMBER 4, 2017

The George County Sheriff’s Office received a call in the early morning hours of Monday, September 4, 2017, regarding a missing child in the 16000 block of Hwy 26 West. During a search of the surrounding area, the child was found deceased. No foul play is suspected at this time; however, the incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this event should contact the George County Sheriff’s Office at 601.947.4811.
