NARCOTICS ARREST

JUNE 16, 2017

On Thursday, June 15, 2017, the Southeast Mississippi Narcotics Task Force (SEMNTF) and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN) executed a search warrant at the Dorsett Motel, located in the 5100 block of Main Street, Lucedale, MS. This comes after a week long investigation into the distribution of Methamphetamine by Kendrick Des Booker (38), a fugitive wanted out of Yalobusha County, Mississippi, for absconding probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Booker was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) with intent to distribute and transported to the George County Regional Correctional Facility (GCRCF) pending his initial appearance in George County Justice Court. Agents were assisted by the George County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) and the Lucedale Police Department (LPD).

This is an ongoing investigation and more arrests are expected. Anyone with information concerning this or any other crime is encouraged to contact the George County Sheriff’s Office at 601.947.4811.
